This rainbow arched over the village in the morning.

Amazing was, it didn’t rain at all. The humidity must have been very high.

Greeted by a rainbow we made a walk through the Autumn breeze.
All berries of the holly trees in our area are red now.

Some trees like poplar and this willow turn yellow and let there leaves fly through the sunshine.

We also found this magnificent hawthorn!

Never in my live I saw such a big hawthorn tree! In our country they grow only up to 5 meter and the trunk is 5-10 cm in diameter. And here in New Zealand they grow up to 10 meters!!! And look at this big trunk!

Just amazing!

How amazing our sunsets can be! Autumn is the best time to see such spectacular colours all over the sky.

When we went to Willowbank yesterday, we walked over the lawn and David called out: “A rainbow, a rainbow!”
Since it was hot and we had no rain I was very surprised. When I looked up to the sky I was in awe.

David found a huge sun halo!

I have seen smaller halos around the sun and moon, but this one was a real blessing!

Amazing New Zealand! I love you!

Today was an awesome sunset!

After the sky was bright yellow it turned into a fiery orange.

We watched speechless with awe. And then the clouds turned into Aileen’s favorite colour…

…pink!
