Brigitte’s autumn hideaway

While Aileen was at school and Jonas at college David and I made our first walk to discover the area.

50 meters from our house we saw this beautiful horses.

What a majestic animal!

On the other side was a field with a bunch of sheep.

The scene here is so beautiful with fields and hills and faraway mountains.

David was fascinated from the many foxgloves (Digitalis purpurea) we found.

And he was very fond of this special beauty…

I of course loved the blackberry bushes… they have so many blossoms I am sure to be able to harvest some berries one day

We found another piece of New Zealand’s paradise.

This small creek comes out of nowhere and is so lovely to observe.

We found a mini variety of catch flies

And this beautiful sight of woolly mullein (Verbascum thapsus)
It looks like a stone desert with agave’s. Just awesome!
